Thida (he/his) identifies himself as a transgender man and is an LGBTIQ activist and co-founder and coordinator of LoveIsDiversity, a platform focusing on promoting the rights of the Cambodian LGBTIQ. He has been advocating for LGBTIQ rights since 2016 and initiated LoveIsDiversity with other activities in 2018 with the aims for campaigning and awareness-building to boost LGBTIQ persons’ acceptance and promote more widespread tolerance across the country. Thida is dedicated to build the capacity of members in the LGBTIQ community and has established a peer support network to improve the support system for youth and provide a safe space to empower others and boost confidence for everyone to be able to be themselves.
