‘Life Afloat’ was an exhibition held by Women Peace Makers and hosted at the Bophana Center in Phnom Penh during March 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, Life Afloat was short-lived and only accessible to the public for three weeks.
However, the exhibition brought people together and served as a backdrop for many deep and profound conversations about how we perceive ‘the other’.
In order to preserve the legacy of the exhibition, and more importantly the legacy of a community along the Tonle Sap, this visual journey allows viewers to experience the exhibition whether or not they had a chance to visit in person.
