Ester Pisey James

Ms. Ester Pisey James is a Gender Program Manager at WPM who support all the gender-related projects.  During the past seven years, She has been able to support, protect, and promote human rights of many men, women, and children, particularly those who have been victims of land grabbing, human trafficking and labor exploitation. As a result of the various positions she has held, she has the ability to connect with a wide range of key actors, including CSOs, government agencies, and private businesses. She also experienced working closely with marginalized groups such as the LGBT community, Muslim community, entertainment workers, as well as women with HIV and mental health issues. Ester is very passionate about bringing gender equality and has a strong believe that everyone’s rights and dignity need to be respected. 

She holds two Bachelor’s Degrees; one in Law with Royal University of Law and Economic and one in International Relations with Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. Besides, she also earned a Master’s Degree in International Business Law from Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
